Been doing my research and I can’t seem to find a club where I’m located. I don’t mind a drive at all but I’d like to stay as close to SWLA/Orange Texas area as I can. If anyone can point me in the right direction I’d greatly appreciate it. I don’t have a boat and have zero problems being back-boated. I’m just looking to fish more lol. The banks I hit are getting kinda old.

There are several clubs that I know of in sw La. though I can only think of the names of a couple, the Reel Fisherman and the Lake Area Bass Club. I belong to the latter and I can't speak for the other one but most of our tournaments are on Toledo Bend with an  occasional one on Sam Rayburn. There used to be dog fight type tournaments on the Calcasieu on Wednesday pm if they are still around. Check out the ALBC (Assoc. of Louisiana Bass Clubs) for other clubs in the area.

One other thing you might check is at the boat show at the LC civic center. There’s often some clubs represented there. It is usually in late January early February.

Start your own club and call it The Rougaroux Bass Club. :)

On a serious note, if you go to Links at the top of the page you can find a listing of bass clubs throughout the country listed by state.

Here are the clubs listed for Louisiana.

Louisiana

Barataria Bass Masters
Bastrop Bass Club
Bayou Bassmasters
Bayou Boys Bass Busters
Louisiana B.A.S.S.
South Lafourche Bass Masters

You can also contact both FLW (TBF) and the B.A.S.S. state federations and ask them for the names and contact details for any clubs in your area. Look them up on the web site.

Good luck.
