Last time I was in a bps store I seen bunch of knock off bps lures some interesting like the egg I think ? it’s a wake bait anyways I ended up getting the pbs tourney pro popper I ? I’m not sure but I seen jonb catching smallies on it and swears it’s his favorite popper so I got it back in July no luck on it yet maybe next season, anyone know of a productive pbs lure? evertime I go I want to get a couple but I end up splurging on name brand stuff.

Great lure! I've caught numerous bass on the Egg. I don't use it for waking, but cranking. Just under a foot and it at times is an erratic lure. I like the small one, perfect weight to throw far.

Cool man, thanks yeah it looks  pretty decent for a cheaper bait I’m gonna get it now for sure I mean why not if it works then it really doesn’t matter to me if it doesn’t have the best components or the best paint jobs plus I can change out hooks if need be but I’ll probably just fish it as is. ??

Big fan of the BPS Humpty Dumpty, they come in 2 sizes. It's hit or miss with BPS hard baits, some are very good, others not.

I've changed out the stock treble hooks with size 4 in front and size 6 in back, short shank trebles. At time they still get tangled up but not too bad. I haven't tried using size 6 trebles for front and back, I think my hook ups would be lessened.

If you want a wake bait in the egg, go with the larger Egg. It leaves a big wake and it's quite loud.

I went with angler offshore brand wakebait (same bps house brand but target mostly saltwater). It is bigger 2" 5/8 but not as heavy. I caught fish just reeling in on top surface and ripping it.

I also like the smaller 7/16 oz  better. Caught a lot of bass over the years with this and it is easier towork it under the surface at  about 6” then the 3/4

The 3/4 model better for waking as said.

I do upgrade The trebles with mine.

I guess the egg is a good bait! Who would of guessed nobody really talks about it. It’s on my list of must have cheap baits no doubt.

Found out the same thing as they are either studs or duds.

He set on a wall and had a great fall, all the king's horse's and all the king's men could not put him back together again.

Seems like this is the only bps cheepy worth getting so I’m gonna pick up a couple next time I go. Probably pick up a few jerk baits as well and some chunk trailers for the winter.
