Anyone have any idea which diameter of Izorline #4?

I found some left from long long time ago but there is no indicator on spool. I plan to use this line for pixy airy red but not sure if I have enough to fill the spool (6lbs ~ 80 yds).

Any recommend on the line for pixy? I only have #6 Hybrid and 6lbs Vanish line as of now.

XXX is listed at .20mm (.0079 inch).

Thks a lot. Mine is first string but they should be the same. Btw I have another question for you, if you don't mind. My airy red pixy also come with brand new Ray's shallow spool. I have read somewhere that to use pixy spool in Alphas I would need spacer (33mm vs 31mm). I don't think I need shallow spool for pixy, so I might sell it off later or use that spool with my Alphas 105(I ordered Gliss 18lb line for it) I've read somewhere that you used to make a spacer for it, do you know where I can find it now and would it work with DIY spool?

For reference Maxima 5 lb Ultra Green is 0,20 mm /.008 dia., the line I use for my finesse fishing.

Couldn't find 4 lb Original Izorline mono dia., it's probably now called XXX?

I found some spacers a couple months ago when I was cleaning my desk.  I'd have to measure them to make sure they are the right size.  I originally made some so I could put a Presso spool in my Sol.  I have some Teflon bar ends sitting under my desk.  Plan on making a few spacers.....eventually....from them to see if that material will work.  Unfortunately the company I work for didn't replace the other lathe programmer when he quit in June 2015.  We have lost 6 people since a year ago last December.  Five of them this year.  None have been replaced.  I'm the only guy left in the shop that currently can set up 4 of the lathes.  As you probably can imagine, I am swamped all the time.  We have 27 lathes and I am the only programmer.  Plus I now spend a lot of time setting up.  Don't know when I can get to run off another batch.  Or if I'll ever get the time.

If those spacers I found are the correct size, you are welcome to have a set or two...or three.  :teeth:

@WRBI think so but they still sell both xxx and first string. I use this line mostly for trout on my CT50 and I caught 23lb carp with this line.

@new2BC4bassreally appreciate it. A few would be good so I can prepare for your purple alphas when you are ready to transfer to me ?.
