In the next couple weeks I'm going to be buying a spinning reel and looking to spend less than $100 dollars. 2 that I have had my eye on are the Daiwa Bg and the Pflueger President. The BG is close to 60.00 more expensive and not sure I need to go that route again but they are sweet. Any recommendations that I'm not thinking of?

Thanks

If your goal is $100 or less then I’d recommend the Daiwa Fuego LT. If the goal is less than $100 then look at the Daiwa Legalis LT 69.99. People are loving this reel and it’s great for the price point.

Kastking Sharky III $55 with a 10% off coupon is hard to beat.

I fished a Pflueger President for years and it is a great reel for the price. The Sharky III is a better bang for the buck. Sealed water tight drag and body plus a direct drive handle are just some of the features it has.

Ive only owned a few spinning reels but my favorite has been a Shimano Sedona.  Ive owned it for over a decade with absolutely no problems.   Not proud to say this,  but I haven't serviced it once,  and still silky smooth.

Went ahead and bought a Pflueger Supreme. Got a really good deal on it off EBay.

Fantastic reel as well. I got one as well that has stood the test of time. Mine is from the year when the spool had the big circular cut outs,
