Interested in trying tube rattles inside plastic baits ie Texas rig.

Does anyone know if there is a difference between the glass and plastic type of tube rattles?

Noticed the plastic variety are super cheap on Amazon. If there isn't a big sound difference then I will go with the plastic.

Pretty sure glass will give you a higher pitch rattle, compared to plastic with rattles of the same material

There are few options to consider; rattle worm weights like Venom , rattle bullet weights like Gambler and brass n glass Top Brass/Iovino.

The Venom glass rattles create more clicking sound inserted inside the worm body then aluminum. I used the Venom rattles few years and change to...

Gambler rattle bullet weights for night fishing with better results then inserting rattles into worms and changed to....

Brass n Glass, tempered faceted glass bead and painted brass bullet weights and this is my go to Texas rig, day or night, because it always works.

I use Barlows jig collar rattles and color the aluminum ends red or black with a sharpie for night fishing jigs.
