MG for me I don't like the big MK foot control with the button on the wrong side.

I prefer the Minn Kotas, simply because of the flexible shaft.  I fish a lot of lakes with stumps, logs, etc....  and I have bumped into a few.  It is nice knowing the shaft will flex enough to keep it from bending on you.

Just mho

Minn Kota mainly because when you mount your transducer the skig on the bottom protects your transducer; I also prefer hand control vs foot control.

One that works.  Honestly.

I have a MK maxxim 80lb on my boat now and have been happy with it.  I like slow ramp up start (instead of just full power it increases to the power you have it set on - I think it makes it more quiet to operate at higher power levels).  Prevents me from ending up in the water sometimes  ;D

I do not really have anything to compare it too but I just bought a 50lb

Minn Kota endura I have only used it twice but so far so good!

All the best, Bob

I've had MG but, just bought an endura MK 55#-did it for the feed back and also alot of motor for the price-$239 with a $60 rebate :o

Now somewhat with Catt is I've always used hand operative cause well just what I've bought, I never have used a foot operative one-never :-?

Honestly I have one of each.A minn kota foot control on my jonboat and a motorguide on my bass tracker.I like them both about equally as well.

No contest for me really, Minn Kota wins hand's down.  In the cheaper model's you can just tell the frame of the MG's are built like crap.  I had a 68lb MG when I bought my boat and it was the biggest turd in the world, loud, rails where like half an inch thick, and got stuck in 24 volt high.  So I put an old Johnson OMC on her and it works about 600 times better.  I also will ALWAYS prefer cable over electronic, I like being in total control the second I need it.

I know I'm in the minority on Minn Kota powerdrive opinion, but I have a PD40 with the copilot attachment and absolutely love it, no pedal in the way
