Her previous life was a duck hunter.  Now, with some work she will be a great Bass hunter.  She is a Landau 1244F.

Her spec is as follow:

She is 12' long.  Her beam is 44" and 32" bottom.  She sport a 16" transom height and 14" side.  Her load is 275 lbs and max 335lbs with battery and motor.  I got lucky with her for $200.

I would like to do an extreme make over on her but I'm afraid of her weight limit.  Battery is 60 lbs, MK46 TM is 20 lbs.

Can I really put two adults on her and still be safe?

Do I need to register her at the DMV? ( I'm getting difference answer on this)

Thanks for all your help.

Sounds about like the boat me and my friend use at his private pit sometimes. With two big guys, a battery, and a tm on the back, it makes do but you better get in, sit down, and not move without announcing it   :-/ I wouldn't dare take it out on water with more than a slight chop. Best thing you can do is just give it a shot and see how it rides.

As for registering it, it depends on the state. I'd check with your DNR office or whoever handles registering boats.

Thanks y'all input.  I saw Low_buget_Hooker mod and was inspire to do something.  But now I can't find his mod topic anymore  :'(.

I was hoping to load the boat with 400lbs.  But now, I will try to keep it close to the limit.

Thanks

If you ever carry 400 pound's, make sure a couple of those pounds are a good pail!  Like announced before, 2 people can ride in it but it's going to be pretty low in the water, don't move around without letting your partner know and all that good stuff.  I used to fish out of a tiny 10 foot jon boat with my buddy, I stood up but it was ignorant.
