Global Moderator 12poundbass Posted October 10, 2018 Global Moderator Posted October 10, 2018 Pretty cool video. His Garmin units including Panotpix made them stick out pretty good. 3 Quote
OCdockskipper Posted October 10, 2018 Posted October 10, 2018 I have thought about what would happen if I ever snagged a body and pulled it up to the surface. I think I would just open the spool, drop it back down & call 911. Quote
Fishing_FF Posted October 11, 2018 Posted October 11, 2018 I worked down in the Belle Glade and Pahokee area. When we got calls for someone witnessing a car go into one of the many canals, the sheriff office would bring multiple wreckers out because they would general find more than a single car once they got divers in the water. The most I saw found was 4. Quote
Super User N Florida Mike Posted October 11, 2018 Super User Posted October 11, 2018 I saw the one where he found a boat last year. We had a child go missing a couple years ago and the police divers were searching all the ponds and found a car with a skeleton in it . Its right down the road from work and I just happenned to be going by as they pulled the car out of the pond.It was determined that it was a sailor that went missing around 10-15 years ago. Quote

I noticed that too and wondered why. The only thing I could come up with is maybe they do that for security purposes in case it's a car full of drugs. I've seen before on shows where they've transported a car full of drugs and they had a heavily armed escort because the dealers have tried to get it back. Quote

Maybe they did it so Scott could have a cool clickbait title? Kidding. But seriously..... Quote
Super User Log Catcher Posted October 11, 2018 Super User Posted October 11, 2018 I would think he had the shotgun in case a gator or poisonous snake was in one of the vehicles. Quote

Good thinking. I never thought of that. Here in Michigan the only thing we really have to worry about around the water is mosquitoes. ? Quote
Super User fishballer06 Posted October 12, 2018 Super User Posted October 12, 2018 I saw this the other day. Pretty amazing stuff from those electronics. Those images where he could see that the windows were down and he could see the seat were amazing. Quote
Super User Gundog Posted October 13, 2018 Super User Posted October 13, 2018 3 vehicles in the same spot???? I guess Florida's state motto should be "See something, say nothing!". Quote
Super User soflabasser Posted October 13, 2018 Super User Posted October 13, 2018 I am not surprised one bit he found cars inside that canal. I know exactly where that canal is and most people fish it for crappie, bluegill, and other small fish. Have seen many cars deep inside lakes and canals, some of these cars are in some of my favorite fishing locations. There is a one lake I use to dive in that has a car in 25-30 feet of water and this car is right behind a house. That car must of been dumped in there before the houses where built since most of the lake is surrounded by houses. 2 Quote
