I just wanted to post and say Thank you to each and EVERY single one of you that has answered or tried to answer all my questions. I was bank fishing today and asked around if anybody was catching anything. They said not even a bite. I looked and watched the anglers with their 100k bass boats and they had nothing. I was there for about 4 hours and decided to tie on a jig with craw trailer. I have finally caught a jig bass!!I can't thank you all enough on the help and tips. With this catch I finally felt as if I was a pro. I looked at the water and environment and saw craws on rocks just about everywhere. I throw a jig in and followed the contour of every rock and crevice. What a day!Thank you

That first jig fish is so nice. Mine was like a 5 pounder and after that I didn’t put the jig down for like a month haha. Congrats bud!

Were you dragging, hopping, or what?  Congrats dude, nice fish for sure.

Literally everything, reeling slowly and feeling each rock, and letting the bait fall into crevices is what set this bass off.

Looks like I won't put my jig down either.

Congrats! Nice look bass! I caught my first jig fish just 2 weeks ago and it’s been 2 solid weeks of jig fishing since lol! I’ve got less fish in general over the past 2 weeks but I’ve caught on average much better fish. First one being a 5lber followed by a 3lber on the next cast! I was hooked! Going out to a new lake tomorrow and have two rods pre-set up tied with jigs right now.
