Still hammering away on the video edit from this most recent trip.

Still a couple of days away, but it's looking decent so far.

Man - it was full contact all the way ~

I should have videoed that !

He put on almost 7 pounds while I was gone and he's 2 inches taller.

His name is most appropriate.

Great video.  I especially enjoyed the portion when you were topwater fishing before sunrise and there was footage of the fish jumping in the early morning light.

16+ pounder..."The guide.  Not my fish."

Excellent video.  I wish I had the energy to video my trips.  I just want to fish and enjoy myself, take it all in.  Oh well..

I will be back at Baccarac in December.  After watching your video I wish it was sooner, lol.  What a beautiful lake.

Might have an empty seat ~ Any interest ?

No solid dates yet, (Nov) but I'm hoping to have them very soon.

Interest?  Yes…

Available vacation days will be VERY difficult though.  Two weeks already spoken for for an Alaskan cruise.  I’ll send you some halibut 😀

Here we go again ~

While there's still some details to workout regarding exact travel days & air travel,

the first week of Nov 2025, I hope to be chasing crazy huge green bass in Mexico.

Didn't really know if I'd ever even be able to plan another one of these.

So it feels pretty good just typing that.

Mean while, the Lake Baccarac top water selection is good to go !

Looking at 297 days and a wake up.

@A-Jay I’m already looking forward to the reports. Has the website been working for you? I can’t seem to access it whether on mobile or desktop.

Thanks -

No it hasn't been working for me either.

Not sure what's up.

I'll find out though . . . .

I've got some goals to achieve first, but God willing I'll be able to go on my number one bucket list item, Mexico Bass fishing.

The results that both A-Jay and Jar11591 produced make the price tag much easier to swallow.    If I'm paying $3k+ for a fishing trip, I'm looking for a very high percentage chance of catching a DD.     IIrc A-Jay got one, and Jar just barely missed one.   Either fish would be perfectly fine for that kind of price tag.

Couple of places I've been looking at in Florida offer great chances at a DD, but all of them are on live Shiners.    The thing that really attracts me to Mexico is the prospect of catching DD sized fish on artificials.

Dang I wanna go so bad!

Even A-Jay's lures are prettier than mine. My main 2024 popper lost its feathery tail after one morning and its body looks like I scrubbed it with sandpaper. And here's my favorite Whopper Plopper:

I'm a slob.

However, I can live with my slacking as long as Andy and Alex make their way to Mexico and have extremely taut lines.

Funny thing is El Salto is fishing better than Baccarac according to some sources that have a presence on both lakes. I'm talking about DD's caught.
