Only a wake-up to go. Nothing left to do but obsess over whether I should try to jam "just this one other thing" in the bag.

Hi AJ.  Have you been watching the weather?  A Hurricane is forecasted to hit the west coast of Mexico on Wednesday.  Models show it passing me by in PV but could be a problem where you are going.  It could stay out to see and hit Baja instead of the mainland coast.  Hope it doesn't have any negative effect on your fishing.  Good luck.

Been through this drill a few times over the years.

Had to reschedule one trip so far.

No sense getting spun up about it until our pilot says to.

We're getting with him today to make a contingency plan if needed.

Thanks for looking out.

Latest update is ~

This trip hangs in the balance right now.

Tropical Storm Pamela is looming like a turd in the punch bowl.

A few hours one way or the other, if she decreases or intensifies,

any of those can help or really hurt our chances of making this one as scheduled.

Pretty much just a wait & see deal.

So that's what we're doing . . .

Not the worst news this morning . . . .

"Pamela has not strengthened as quickly as thought up to this point.

After landfall, Pamela is expected to rapidly decay due to the rugged terrain of Mexico."

Local forecast doesn't hurt my feelings either

My Mother's name is Pamela.  She can be very unpredictable sometimes.

At least its not looking like 115 degrees...

Heading out just in time for the cool down up here. You timed that perfectly.

Looks like nice temperate weather ( mid 90’s) for my neck of the woods. Hope you and your group get on a good bite and put the hurt on ‘em, definitely looking forward to the annual @A-Jay big girl photo shoot and video session! Tight lines and safe travels

Thank you my friend, I certainly appreciate the kind words.

Recent reports say 'there's bait everywhere',

usually a good sign.

Just checked in for my first flight out in the morning.

It's "On Time" - hope that continues.

If it does I'll be wheels up before noon for the start of another adventure.

All that's left now. . . . . . . is the wake up.

Of course, that is assuming I actually sleep.

Take Tank out for a run around Menderchuck - that'll tire you out. ;)

Usually don’t, maybe once if we’re lucky.

Got back stateside last night.

Presently, I am in TX but should be back up in the north woods and home some time tonight.

Thankfully the travel both ways was mostly painless. More on than later.

But the fishing, although somewhat 'off' by Lake Baccarac standards, was pretty darn good.

I will pour through the 5 plus days of video footage in the next few days and post up a report.

Should be decent.

Thanks for checking in and especially for the support.
