moloch16 Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 Good work! Question: How will you turn right with the trolling motor? Unless you have a go-go-gadget arm doesn't seem like you'll be able to turn the motor to make hard right turns? Quote
baboosicbass08 Posted March 6, 2008 Posted March 6, 2008 hey sorry man i just got a chance to check my computer now but i see you got em posted looks great congratulations and good luck with it -Dave Quote
jemackinnon83 Posted March 7, 2008 Posted March 7, 2008 Good Job! I like the front seat setup. I kinda wish I would've done mine that way. Quote

FishingBuds Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 SA-WEET! love the front deck the flooring going towards the transom is intresting, I believe I've not seen a flooring like that. can ya explain how you are using that set up Looks good Quote
_tyler_wright_ Posted March 8, 2008 Author Posted March 8, 2008 Here's some more pics i just uploaded to photobucket. The flooring towards the back is going to have a seat plate and pedestal on the raised part so if i for some unknown reson want to face the back ad fish i could. Make sure you use this stuff on your wood before you start installing! Just a pic of the front deck Pic of the framing and flotation foam lol Back seat framing Don't laugh it's all i could find that was heavy except for myself, and i was n't about to laydown on that stuff till it dried Quote
_tyler_wright_ Posted March 9, 2008 Author Posted March 9, 2008 Thanks for the comments guys. I took her out the other day and the only thing that was wrong was that it leaned to one side because of the battery not being in the center. But whenever i get my outboard and some gas in the tank it will be evened out. This was a fun project and i;m actually going to look at anothe boat today to start converting! Quote
PBAngler Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 i did not see the before pics but it looks great. i have a very similar boat and going to do the same thing but was concerned about the weight factor. Do you have any concerns. Were the decks in and you just carpeted or did you add the decks as well? Quote
_tyler_wright_ Posted March 10, 2008 Author Posted March 10, 2008 I added everything. It was a completely bone stock 1974 Fisher scratched up and beat up and i just completely re-did everthing. As for the weight, you can see the pink insulation under the front sunk-in deck that helps with the weight in the front and the raised part towards the back had some spray foam under it. The boat sits the same level it did befor i did anything to it when it was just me my buddy and a couple of paddles. If you need any help when you start on your project ask me or some of these other great guys! Quote
Darrell660 Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Very nice job! Looks like it was alot of fun to build. Quote
Black Bass Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 Very nice. Keep us posted on how it fishes. Quote
rswell2 Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 I agree with FishingBuds: Could you explain the flooring around your rear seat? Quote
_tyler_wright_ Posted March 11, 2008 Author Posted March 11, 2008 The raised part will have a seat plate like the one on the back with the other seat. And i'll just put a pedestal in it and take the seat off the back and put it in the pedestal so if i ever want to face the back of the boat i can just sit there. And the consol to the left of the seat has two cup holders and my switch panel on the side. The thing to the right has my tackle trays in them. And the big hatch on the back goes to my battery and gas tank. I have a 9.9 Johnson but it's in the shop getting tuned up. Quote
