Me and the wife are in the process of building a "tiny house"..    its coming along well. She said she wanted some "barn doors" for the bedroom and bathroom.  I was all for it since they slide open and closed on rollers instead of swinging open and taking up floor space to do so. For something this small every little bit has to be used. I built these doors out of some old wood from my grandpa's grandmas house. The house was recently demolished but I've got tons of memories of that place. It has been abandoned and pretty dang creepy for the longest time. My whole family lives on this road and it's been that way for sooooo long. While I was growing up I me and my buddys would get our butts in trouble for sneaking into that big ole creepy house to explore...... anyway I built my grandpa a coat rack out of some of the live edge stuff from it also using a horse shoe from his dads old mule. He had a tractor but just loved plowing with a mule named Colby.  Here are a few pictures. The fella with the mule is my great grandpa Swayne...I never met my grandpas granny obviously, but her name was Magnolia.....I know they had a dog that they called "diddy".....that was short for "diddy bite ya" .....Haha.

The picture of the coat rack doesn't do it justice. It really turned out nice. Those 2 silver things are some shined up square nails from that old house.
