LakeAnnaBasser Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 What do you all think of these batteries. I am considering on getting some and need some reviews. Quote
shortbasser Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 I have been running them for close to 10 years. No problems. Great warranty and they haven't left me stranded yet. Dealers all over the country so that helps too. If you can find your area distributor you might get a break in price. No mark-up by a marina or parts store. Shortbasser Quote
TopDog Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 Same here, I have 2 on my boat, and they have been good to me. I also have a guest charger and keep them plugged in when not on water 24/7/365. Quote
Super User Tin Posted March 10, 2008 Super User Posted March 10, 2008 They are like most other batteries, take care of them and you don't have issues. Quote
GobbleDog Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 IMO Interstate marine batteries are the best of the best. Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted March 11, 2008 Super User Posted March 11, 2008 Interstate batteries are made by Johnson Controls. They make batteries with several other brand names on them. Quote
Rick Cargo Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 I wouldn't take them if you gave them to me. In my boat and in my travel trailer they both came brand new with Interstate batteries. They were toast after a year. I'v got 6 years on my 2 Duralast trolling motor batteries and 1 cranking battery. Duralast deep cycles in the trailer for 3 years. Just my take. Quote
