KansasSkeeter Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 Gents I am in need of some advice for late October fishing on Beaver Lake. I'll be staying on the north end of the lake near the dam and want to get a couple of friends on fish. I can make a long run down to dirty water, but both of them live toward the dam and I'd like to show them some techniques that will work around that area. I'm thinking of approaching Beaver like I would Table Rock at this time of the year, but I've heard it fishes much different than the Rock. Small shad baits work well? I was thinking flukes, damiki rig, drop shot, ned rig, etc would be tied on. Is there much of a dock pattern down there at all? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted September 25, 2018 Global Moderator Posted September 25, 2018 You can fish it a bit like Table Rock, but it's a fickle lake for sure. If we have a good cold snap, I wouldn't rule out an A-rig. I prefer the area around Prairie Creek but that's a long haul from the dam. Quote
