Define deep.

Deeper then the depth of light or aquatic plant growth or thermocline in small lakes like quarry or pit lake is deeper then the bass will be located. The type of baitfish and other prey also determine where the bass will be located.

It doesn't matter if the lake is big or small, deep or shallow the 1st thing to determine is where are the bass located, the second is what are they targeting as a food source.

Being shore bound your choices are anything within a casting distance. Survey the lake using a satellite overhead view, walk around the parimeter and look for bass and prey to get an idea what is in the lake and where to start fishing. The vast majority of the bass should be near shore because that is where their food source is located.

Texas rig worm or senko bait.  I do it a few times a week from the bank.  It will go through thick shore weeds. climb vertical walls, or just drag the depths.

Swim jig with a slim trailer like a rage menace.. I like 3/8oz for some extra distance... Strike king makes an awesome one when you're talking about what you get for the price...

Also drop shot... I hear and see alot about how people say you can't drop shot from the bank... or that it isn't practical. Because it tends to be a vertical presentation.. but it Works just fine for me ?‍♂️
