wbeaudean1@verizon.net Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 I know the reasons when rattles are effective like heavy stained water, aggresive fish etc. What about post spawn,3 feet clarity would you put rattles on a chatterbait. Any personal experiance to confirm.thanks btr. Quote
Super User NorthernBasser Posted September 10, 2018 Super User Posted September 10, 2018 I've never seen rattles on a chatterbait. The chatterbait gives off so much vibration I really don't think it's needed. 4 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted September 10, 2018 Global Moderator Posted September 10, 2018 I've never seen one with rattles and never felt the need to add them to mine. There's so much vibration, it shouldn't be needed, might even be a sensory overload for the fish. 1 Quote

Super User webertime Posted September 16, 2018 Super User Posted September 16, 2018 Rattles on chatter baits? Sounds like Pike food. 3 Quote

Yeah, and they like them enough as it is. It's entertaining for a minute to have a 40" fish follow your bait to the boat....only to realize your $20 jackhammer could be gone in the blink of an eye. 1 Quote
