NOS = nitrous oxide system. Haven't you watched Fast and the Furious? ? In this case I'm pretty sure it means New old stock though. Reel looks really slick.

I’m a little confused by your post. “Always want what you can’t have, so I built my own” It looks like you took a zillion 100HA and put the hlc spool in it. Possibly a different handle but it looks like a stock zillion handle from what I see. I’m not totally certain due to the angle though. Please correct me if I’m missing something here. I’m just trying to understand what you did. Both reels are built on the exact same platform so what issues are you referring to with the hlc? It’s one of the most highly spoken of og zillions.

Yes, NOS = New Old Stock.

I've never been crazy with the OG Zillion HLC built with a straight handle. The purple highlights wouldn't be my first choice either. I've always had an eye for the OG Zillion 6.3, and a desire to see how an HLC spool performs. Found both items new to combine.

Also nuts for real cork knobs. Not the plastic coated sort. Just cork.

So, now it's built. Just waiting for the perfect day to get it wet!

I think that marketing is really effective now a days on the internet and YouTube and it really get us bad! Seems like a never ending cycle of things that we covet. Things that we consume it’s not a good thing. But as long as their is a consumer company’s will continue to capitalize on it, the never ending cycle of wanting more and buying more and coveting what you can’t have.

Be careful with real modifications for cosmetics or performance.  Soon you have paid more for them than you paid for the reel.LOL
