Super User Jig Man Posted September 6, 2018 Super User Posted September 6, 2018 I am in information overload. I have been reading the Ulterra and I Pilot manuals. I'm trying to understand the I Tracks function. If I want to lay a specific track can I set it up and use the gas motor to navigate along the trail or do I have to use the Ulterra? Additionally, if I can use the gas motor does the Ulterra have to be deployed while the track is being recorded? Quote
Super User NHBull Posted September 6, 2018 Super User Posted September 6, 2018 I believe the TM can follow the track, not the big motor 1 Quote

I am talking about building a track not following it. I have 2 places that are 1 mile long each. I want to make a track for each and store it. Quote
Super User Tennessee Boy Posted September 6, 2018 Super User Posted September 6, 2018 My remote always says TM not deployed when it's stowed so I don't think you can record a track without it being deployed. It might be possible to deploy the TM, raise it out the water with the speed set to zero and record the track using your big motor. I have an Ultex so I don't have the option of raising and lowering the motor with the touch of a button like you do and I'm making some assumptions about how high you can raise the motor when it's deployed. Super User Jig Man Posted September 6, 2018 Author Super User Posted September 6, 2018 Hey trimming up sounds like a good idea. I hope to be able to work on this Monday. I'm just trying to get my head around all of this. 1 Quote
Super User slonezp Posted September 6, 2018 Super User Posted September 6, 2018 If you dont have Link, the motor needs to be deployed. The gps is in the head, not the remote. Quote
