Super User J Francho Posted September 4, 2018 Super User Posted September 4, 2018 You might try the Flea Market with a Want Ad. Pic for attention, lol. Quote

Super User J Francho Posted September 4, 2018 Super User Posted September 4, 2018 They were all thick. Private, managed, feeder lake. A 16” fish was typically over 5. We didn’t weight any, since none looked like they were over 8. It was funny, when the feeders went off, fish would disappear! 1 Quote

Super User NorthernBasser Posted June 8, 2020 Super User Posted June 8, 2020 Got my first few few Shellcracker fish last night. Decided to do a little shore fishing as the sun was setting. Enjoyed fishing it so much I ordered another today in a different color. 3 Quote
Derek1 Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 I got mine a month ago from there own site. Had it in 3 or 4 days. Haven’t caught anything yet with it. 1 Quote

Super User WRB Posted June 9, 2020 Super User Posted June 9, 2020 I realize this is a 2018 thread and checked Black Dog online store and they have G2 Bluegills in stock. Tom PS, I have a G2 ghost blurgill new in package if interested. 2 Quote
BayouSlide Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 Intrigued enough that I ordered one in Bluegill for use at a local lake that holds quantities of large bass. Probably have to wear a swim suit when using it, though, because I hate to lose $4 lures...hooking this $$ one into an underwater cypress stump would no doubt inspire epic efforts for recovery ?. Just reel reeaal slow as you come across them so the bait is waking and not diving. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted June 10, 2020 Global Moderator Posted June 10, 2020 You might check out the FishLab Bio Gill wake bait if you like the Shellcracker. It's a sweet little bait. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Fish_Lab_Bio_Gill_Wake_Bait/descpage-FLBGWB.html Quote
FrankN209 Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 I have one of these, but they don't cast that well. I don't get good distance with them. Quote

These (Shellcracker or Gill Wake?) fly as well as any other lipped crank bait. Sounds the rig may not be balanced with the bait as well as it could be. I use a Heavy/Mod-Fast rod rated up to 2 oz. for them. 1 Quote
FrankN209 Posted June 11, 2020 Posted June 11, 2020 You two are probably right. I'm not using a heavy enough rod. Quote
