Personally Monkey Butt....but I don’t think it matters.

We all use different colored ones at same time and catch fish.

You too! Good luck out there.

Keep it simple.... A white, a black and a natural.  For me it's Bone, Loon and Monkey Butt.

I have the 90 and 110 sizes, but I prefer 110.

Those are all the same colors I have. lol

I would say start with a 75 and then 110 after that.

The 90 didn’t run great which is why they made the 75 I thought?

90 runs fine for me and lots of people. Never read river2sea saying they made the 75 for that reason. Elite and MLF guys were throwing the 90 quite a bit on broadcasts. The 75 was made because the plop noise of the 130/110 was wanted on a more compact bait. The 90s a different sound than the 75. They didnt replace one another much like a plopper didnt replace a buzzbait.

I night fish 80% of the time, and day fish other 20%. Only color I throw at night is Loon. During the day I just throw whatever color I feel like it. No rhyme or reason, most my lakes don't have a topwater bite during the day anyways. I just have one tied on in case I see a blow up.

I see so many complaints/problems mentioned with the 90, never had any other than the obvious weeds wrapping up in it but that's not a design problem. I have a bunch of 90's, they all work perfectly. My dad caught all our plopper fish Friday on a 90, fishing behind me throwing a 75 size. The 90 may be longer, but it still fishes way smaller than the 75, which is what the 75 was meant to do I believe.

Thank you for all of your replies. You have all provided me with a lot of information regarding Whopper Ploppers. So far, all I have used is a white #90. I have used the #90 because most of the bass that are in the two ponds that I fish are usually 12 inches. I will purchase and use some of the colors you people have mentioned. Thanks again and have a great day.
