zelmo Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 There is a thread going about favorite trailers. Does anybody have any insight with regard to using one vs. not? I am not trying to be a wise guy just trying to learn. Quote
Super User Jig Man Posted March 1, 2008 Super User Posted March 1, 2008 Trailers on What?? On a jig almost always On a spinnerbait 25% of the time On a buzzbait never Quote
MaxDal Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 On a jig ...always ! On a spinner ... almost only when slow rolling a heavy colorado in winter ... usually a bulky grub ! On a buzz ... never ! (But like 80% of the time I'll put a trailer hook on (sort of a trailer too ) If the question was only related to jig fishing, always ! I have no confidence in a bare jig and I also think the trailer is the most important part of the jig as far as fish interest is concerned. The jig itself as a good functional use (snagless....) Super User Sam Posted March 1, 2008 Super User Posted March 1, 2008 Zelmo, Are you speaking about a boat trailer? This is the Bass Boating, Canoeing, Tubing and More section so I don't think you are talking about trailers on our baits. Sorry, I have no idea about boat trailers, other than the one I have that came with the boat. Hopefully someone will give you some information that will be useful. Quote
zelmo Posted March 1, 2008 Author Posted March 1, 2008 Ooops. I thought I had clicked on the fishing tackle forum which is right above this one. Is there a way to move this? Quote
Super User Sam Posted March 1, 2008 Super User Posted March 1, 2008 If the moderators do not move it just start another topic in the section that would apply. Quote
