Anyone have the dilemma of wanting to get tackle with the Labor Day sales 15% off or more but not really “neeeding the tackle” but “wanting” lol.  I mean you can always use more of everything haha. Might as well get it now right? ? anyone else ever to threw this tug o war.

Nah. Just like I don't go out shopping for something I already have and don't need and/or won't use just because I got a coupon for half off. You didn't save $5 on that tackle you didn't need. You spent $5.

It's always good to have back up tackle for the back up tackle ??

Yeah, I don't "need" anything either. Just decided I should replenish some senkos and replace an old spinning reel. And then I saw some Berkley plastics were on closeout. And I remembered there is now a Whopper Plopper 75. And I recalled wanting to try some Pepper spinnerbaits....

...and it was all downhill from there.

*The bait monkey merely draws attention to sales for you so you can: "round out your lure portfolio" ... He means no harm :happy-127:

Use sales to replace the baits you burn through most, but sales are very predictable. Heck there is going to be at least 6 major ones before next spring

This is the easiest sale for me to skip knowing the Black Friday sales are on 2.5 months away.

I tried my best to resist but the Monkey won as usual.

I wait for labor day for the stuff I "kind of need".  The "wants" get saved for black friday.  Only way to justify the not necessary stuff is with the extra 5% off!

I went to another place for 20% off and they had a bigger sale on whooper bloopers. I bought  alot and then had to spend enough for other stuff to get the free shipping. I made that and more. I also skipped TW's 15% and will wait till black Friday. I have 167 items in my wish list with one at 99.99. Can you tell I'm retired.

Bought a Spro rat on Friday to reward myself after and exam. Caught a fish on the first cast with it.

Ended up clicking submit order on a Johnny Rat last night before the sales ended...

The bait monkey is also a dirty rat!

A dilemma is a difficult decision between two or more less than ideal or flat out bad choices, what we have here is more like someone perplexed by an enigmatic conundrum....
