InFishingWeTrust Posted August 27, 2018 Posted August 27, 2018 What is the most successful way you have found to retrieve an s waver 168? Also successful color patterns you have found would be cool to. Thanks guys. Quote
Super User fishballer06 Posted August 27, 2018 Super User Posted August 27, 2018 Most successful is slow crawling, which is basically the only way that they reliably work. Color - pick a color to match your forage and go with it. Quote

Also have you used it in murky water or is it better as a clearer water bait? Quote
Super User NHBull Posted August 27, 2018 Super User Posted August 27, 2018 Have yet to get a fish with one, but truth be told, I haven't really committed to it Quote
RyneB Posted August 28, 2018 Posted August 28, 2018 slow steady retrieve has been best for me. I have had spotty success with it, but that's typical of a bait like that. My favorite time to throw it is in the rain, I work it just under the surface. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted August 28, 2018 Global Moderator Posted August 28, 2018 Kind of like fishing a jerkbait, but with the reel instead of the rod tip if that makes any sense. I've done best with Bone and Lite Trout. 1 Quote
