Theblur Posted August 19, 2018 Posted August 19, 2018 Looking to add 3 helix 9's to my rig. All will be mega SI with 2 in the back and one in the front. I know I need the Ethernet hub box but what else? I'm not sure what each one comes with. I'm guessing I'll need 3 ethernet cords and 3 of the adapter cords as well. Anything else? In the future I"ll also be adding and Ipilot link Minn Kota as well. Thanks Quote
Super User slonezp Posted August 20, 2018 Super User Posted August 20, 2018 All you need is the hub and cables. The hub needs it's own source for power. Quote
MittenMouth Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 I hope someone told you to not buy all mega SI since it’s not needed for all 3 1 Quote
Super User MickD Posted October 8, 2018 Super User Posted October 8, 2018 I believe that what the last post is referring to is the fact that when all are linked with ethernet you can select the source for each so that the two in the back (and the one in front, for that matter) can read the from the same transducer. So they don't need separate mega transducers. Which should save some $$. Correct me if I'm misinterpreting. 1 Quote

The others will share the SI through the Hub. Of course if you want the si transducer at the bow you would need at least 2 SI units but the other can just be a plain helix 9 gps Quote

You can’t get mega on a G1, even when networked. 1 Quote
