nwbass Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 My dad wants to go to Tenmile Lake(Oregon) for a couple days. I'm looking for recommendations on where to stay with a boat. We need to be able to charge the battery every evening. Security is also a concern. Don't want to wake up with problems or a missing boat. ? Thanks! Quote
Super User Oregon Native Posted August 13, 2018 Super User Posted August 13, 2018 Surprised no one has answered this. I haven't lived in Oregon for bout ten years but I preferred staying in the campground by the mouth of the creek between the lakes. They used to have trailers for rent and may still. Also had a small restaurant there too. Good Luck Sorry ... can't remember the name...shouldn't be hard to find though. 1 Quote
nwbass Posted August 21, 2018 Author Posted August 21, 2018 Is it Osprey Point? Their website looks like just RV spaces, but I emailed them. Thanks for the reply. Quote
NE-KID Posted August 21, 2018 Posted August 21, 2018 I did a Google search and found Lakeshore Lodge which is close to Tenmile Lake. Lakeshore Lodge Quote
Super User Oregon Native Posted August 22, 2018 Super User Posted August 22, 2018 Yes ... I believe it is Osprey Point. Also have a ramp and it used to be a little quieter. Have a great trip. Used to love fishing a grape slider on a 1/16 ounce head around docks. 1 Quote
nwbass Posted September 21, 2018 Author Posted September 21, 2018 Ended up staying at Lakeshore Lodge. Boat cover we ordered from BPS a month prior still isn't here ?, but nobody messed with the uncovered boat. Decided to just bring the batteries into the room to charge them. Could only get one out, but had no problems. Most of my fishing has been on a river for smallmouth. Actually never thrown a texas rig and have caught very few bass on jigs. Didn't get anything real big, but got a little over 13 pounds the first day. Wind was 15-20 mph after noon. Planning on heading back down in a few weeks, better prepared. Thanks again, guys. Quote
Super User Oregon Native Posted September 22, 2018 Super User Posted September 22, 2018 Nice....enjoy It's a great lake....fun in the fall and has less people too. Isolated wood....trestles....crankbaits and jigs. Docks with the grape slider.....oh my. Quote
