Based on the info given I'd take the Champion: tmotor size, engine size and every Skeeter I have ever been in should have come with spurs.

Champion.

Even if they came with the same everything (motor, troling motor, etc...) just being the Anniversary Edition would make it better.

I just did a quick check.  Yep, it's an 86" beam.  Very similar to my old 168V.  You can plop a 150 on those and have quite a rocketship under you.  Great little boats for getting into tight places.  They handle the rough stuff pretty good though my 184 put that 16 1/2 footer to shame.  No doubt, the Champion is the boat to get.

I'm just toying with the idea of restoring one; both were my favorites back when they were new. Both are in excellent conditions and apart from upgrading electronics it will be an easy task but I'll most likely pass for now.

I'm actually considering a 2005 Xpress X18 with an Evinrude 150 HO; too dang many choices.

A friend of mine has that boat with a 115 4 stroke Yammy.  It is a good fishing boat with the lift and ride of glass.  It just blows around in wind like most alum.

There are so many fine boats available today it make me crazy and last weekend I went to a boat show, huh! That didn't help
