Went this morning with a friend and ran east to the dead end, and then fished back to the west.  We both started with frogs.  I used a Horny Todd, and Roberto a hollow body.  After about 20 minute neither had even a sniff on the frogs.  I turned to a fluke back in the pads, and soon had several bass in the boat.  The fishing was slow but steady for a while.  Unlike other trips to the same area, today the fish were not at the drop-off, but rather back in the shallow pad flat.  After another hour I got into a bigger fish.  Hooked a nice 4 pound beauty, and a couple of 2 pounders.  We switch again once it slowed to a stick-o and u-vibe and both caught fish around and under the bridge.  There were four other boats fishing the same area and we saw little action from them.  One guy told us he had one decent 4 pounder and a couple of two's.

Once the storms rolled in, we tied up under the bridge and sat it out.  While sitting there we caught a couple more.  We finished with 11 bass boated, several escaped by wrapping around the pad stems.  Big fish was a 4 pounder.  It was a fun day while the weather held.

I was there Friday morning.  Couldnt get sniff on anything but a slow moving fluke.  I ended up catching a few decent fish but the action was fairly slow.
