bow3022 Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 Theres a lure my buddy found. I don't know the company, but its like a stick bait, when a lip. When i cast it, it floats, but when i reel it, it stays in the water, not sinking, but not floating, its in the middle. Does anyone know what kind of bait this is? Where i can find some? I tried some stores but, found some that looks like it but not sure if it will stay in the middle like this bait, so i didn't get it. Does anyone know what its called? I just wana make sure before i purchase the bait. Quote
Got Bass? Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 Sounds like some kind of shallow running jerkbait!!?? :-? Quote
Super User Alpster Posted December 4, 2006 Super User Posted December 4, 2006 Sounds like a Rapala FS original floater? Ronnie Quote
Super User 5bass Posted December 4, 2006 Super User Posted December 4, 2006 Sounds like a wake bait. Thunderstick,Redfin,Little Mac,Big Mac etc..... Does it have anything written on it anywhere? Quote
justfishin Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 Look in the stores and try to match it up or go to your local tackle dealer and I bet he could help you identify this lure. Sounds like either a floating Rapala or a Smithwick Rogue. Quote
Chris Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 Look on some of these tackle sites like bass pro shops and post a link picture of the bait. Quote
justfishin Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 Do the treble hooks look like Excaliber, in other words, are they offset? Quote
Super User Dan: Posted December 4, 2006 Super User Posted December 4, 2006 Sounds like a Rapala FS original floater?Ronnie that would be my first guess too. Take a picture of it and post it. Quote
