KC's defense has given up similar amounts, with the exception of the loss to the Patriots. I think you know the only way KC puts 60 on the Rams is if the Chiefs defense gives up 70... As many yards as the Chief's defense gives up, they've only given up more than 30 points twice this year while the offense has only been held to under 30 points once this year. Their 2 worse games were against Brady and Ben, which I don't think is any surprise. Their biggest issue is how bad they are against the run. Almost every game they've scored so many points that the other team hasn't had the option to run, minus both Broncos games which were the 2 closest games of the season that they came out on top. Goff doesn't worry me because he has a tendency to miss open receivers, but the fact that all he'll probably have to do is turn and give the ball to Gurly all day is what stinks. How a team can spend their entire draft on defense and actually get worse at it is beyond me. It should be an entertaining game. PMII should be close if not past the franchise record for TD's in a season (to give an idea of how historically bad the Chiefs are at picking QB's), so that could be some added excitement as well. The Browns are back on the head coaching carousel. They should have fired Hue to begin with. They cleaned up the front office and got some football guys but the Haslems wanted to stick with Hue. So Draft a guy number 1 and 6 games later he'll be on his 2nd head coach and offensive coordinator Which means when he starts year 2 he'll be on his 3rd head coach and OC. Same old browns, same old suck Quote

Do you mean miss by throwing a bad pass to an open receiver or miss by not spotting an open receiver? I would disagree with the first, but if the latter is true, it may be because of the way the offense is set up. Troy Aikmen said a similar thing Sunday, which I found odd because the only other Ram game Aikmen called was when Goff threw for 400 plus yards against the Vikings & had a perfect rating. If Goff isn't that good, his receivers sure do a great job of making him look that way. I am looking forward to that game, although I have a hard time rooting against the Chiefs. I want KC to finish ahead of NE for playoff home field, but a Chief loss to the Rams with the Patriots winning out would give stupid Boston the top seed. Quote

Super User roadwarrior Posted November 2, 2018 Author Super User Posted November 2, 2018 Looks like a tight race for next year's first draft pick. I would not count the Browns out, but the Raiders and the Giants sure look like the best bets right now. 1 Quote
Super User Gundog Posted November 4, 2018 Super User Posted November 4, 2018 Steelers beat a huge division rival in the Ravens. Roethlisberger should never run with the ball....ever. I was screaming as I saw the Ravens player run him down. Quote
OCdockskipper Posted November 5, 2018 Posted November 5, 2018 It is a shame that either team has to lose this game between the Rams & Saints. 35 - 35 with just under 10 minutes to play. 2 Quote

Asked if Nathan Peterman is an NFL quarterback: "I believe he is. I believe he is." He's either lost, or is about to lose the locker room entirely. Even Shady left the locker room before the press arrived. What he and Beane have done with the roster is eerily similar to how Chip Kelly dismantled the Eagles' roster before he got canned. I have zero confidence is McDermott's "The Process". Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted November 6, 2018 Global Moderator Posted November 6, 2018 @Darren., don’t feel too bad. The mastermind coach behind Nathan peterman at Tennessee also used Alvin kamara as a backup running back........ and started peterman over Josh dobbs multiple times........ that coach is now an intern making $35k/year at Alabama, most likely brewing coffee 1 1 Quote

I keep saying that about the Brownies. I think the NFL should take a hint from the NBA and have a lottery draft. Maybe if certain teams weren't guaranteed the 1st or 2nd picks in the draft they might want to be more competitive. Quote

Can't remember where I saw it but from I believe the last 10 years drafts, the Raiders have the fewest players still playing in the NFL. Pretty bad considering how high they've been picking for the last 10 years. Quote
