Super User roadwarrior Posted July 26, 2018 Super User Posted July 26, 2018 Okay boys, it's almost showtime! Besides your home team, who do you think gets there and who wins? Quote

Super User Darren. Posted July 26, 2018 Super User Posted July 26, 2018 I'll bite, LOL, somewhat tongue-in-cheek, that the Bills will surprise, Josh Allen becomes the next Jim Kelly only better. Tremaine Edmunds becomes the next Bruce Smith (impact-wise), and they win the SuperBowl! In reality, early thoughts would be Rams, Jags, Giants, Eagles, Texans, Hawks, Vikes, 49ers, the Pack, Chiefs rounding out the top teams. Who wins: Giants beat Atlanta. Their previous two wins were freaks, and with Barkley, pressure is off Eli a little. Will amend as reality unfolds .... Quote

bassguytom Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 We are still flying high here and think we have a legitimate shot at a repeat. Good coach, good personnel. I know it’s hard but who knows. 2 Quote
Stephen B Posted July 27, 2018 Posted July 27, 2018 There are a lot of good teams this year. Hopefully Atlanta has a good season. I watch a lot of NFL, but college football is what I watch the most. The biggest question is will all the adjustments made will Cleveland win any games? Hahaha. If not, they should just quit. Quote
Hurricane Posted July 29, 2018 Posted July 29, 2018 Pat's win it again.... From a Bills fan.. 1 Quote

BassNJake Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 At least there is some hope of getting a few wins this year. 1 1 Quote
Happybeerbuzz Posted August 9, 2018 Posted August 9, 2018 Steelers vs. Eagles in a near toss up. I give a slight edge to Pittsburgh. Steelers should have a more mature secondary this year plus they drafted that rookie which should make them a mediocre secondary. I am in the camp that Todd Haley held the Steelers offense back. With him gone, that offense is going to be a juggernaut. Eagles should have Wentz back by week 1 or soon after. Their run game will improve with an entire preseason of Ajayi. Rams get an honorable mention. If they get Aaron Donald lock down and their receiving corp ironed out, I am betting next year will be their year. 1 Quote
Super User gim Posted August 14, 2018 Super User Posted August 14, 2018 The NFC is a deeper conference in terms of playoff-caliber teams than the AFC right now. The AFC only has about 3-4 legitimate contenders whereas the NFC has 8-10 playoff worthy teams (with only 6 spots available). I would say that the top 3 teams in the NFC are the Eagles, Rams, and Vikings. The top 3 teams in the AFC are the Patriots, Jags, and Steelers. SKOL Quote

Super User Gundog Posted September 10, 2018 Super User Posted September 10, 2018 Can't believe the Steelers tied the Browns. Should never have happened. Big Ben threw 2 bad passes that gave Cleveland the ball back. I really wish he wouldn't try to make every down a big play. I can't tell you how many times I yelled "Throw the ball away you big idiot!!" right before he took a sack/got the ball stripped from his hands. 1 Quote
Super User Gundog Posted September 21, 2018 Super User Posted September 21, 2018 Mayfield looks like the new face of the franchise. Then again so did Tim Couch, Spergon Wynn, Kelly Holcomb, Jeff Garcia, Luke McCown, Trent Dilfer, Charlie Frye, Derek Anderson, Brady Quinn, Ken Dorsey, Bruce Gradkowski, Colt McCoy, Jake Delhomme, Seneca Wallace, Brandon Weedon (currently retired and living in Boca Raton, plays shuffleboard 3 times a week and calls his grandkids.), Thad Lewis, Jason Campbell, Brian Hoyer, Johnny Manziel (currently playing in Canada cause its still better than Cleveland and Uruguay doesn't have a American football team.), Connor Shaw, Josh McCown (his brother played for Cleveland in 2004, I guess they don't talk to each other.), Robert Griffin, Cody Kessler (?), DeShone Kizer, Kevin Hogan, and....deep breath, Tyrod Taylor. 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted September 23, 2018 Global Moderator Posted September 23, 2018 Browns have a better record than the Steelers at this point, who saw that coming? 1 Quote
