ghost Posted July 21, 2018 Posted July 21, 2018 I picked this up at Walmart for less than $5.00. Its simple, its analog, it has a tape measure in back, it has a push up, push down handle, and you can reset the dial arm to zero. It's lighter than the older Rapala digital scale I own...no batteries. I had the chance to test it out with a couple items that I know the weights of. It's accurate. Also, I caught a bass this morning using a Senko. I then was able to weigh the bass and it accurately weighed it at 3 lbs. I forgot to measure the bass though...Doh! What I like with an analog scale is, I don't have to turn it on like what you have to do with a digital scale, and wait for the digital to start up. I have an older Rapala digital scale, I've had for years. It still works, but it's just not accurate anymore. The brand is Ozark Trails, never heard of it before. I bought it cuz it was cheap. Quite happy it works like its suppose to and I don't have to hold on to the bass for too long and wait for a digital scale to start up. Hope this helps any if you looking to buy a fish scale with a built in tape measure, and the key word...its simple. 1 Quote
TylerT123 Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 That brand is owned by Walmart and supposedly their tumblers are made in the same factory as Yeti’s. Quote
Falkus Posted July 22, 2018 Posted July 22, 2018 Not a bad idea, I might do that since I really need a fishing scale. by the way - nice fuego 1 Quote
