MaineBassFishin Posted July 17, 2018 Posted July 17, 2018 Just about finished with the deck project on a 14' aluminum. Still have a bit of work to do but for now I'm fishing with it. Boats very stable for its size, have no complaints yet. Also added a Lowrance Elite 9 ti with the totalscan transducer. 12 Quote

Super User Spankey Posted July 17, 2018 Super User Posted July 17, 2018 Real nice. I like the black trim and recess on the foot control. Quote
kenmitch Posted July 17, 2018 Posted July 17, 2018 Nice. When under way you just sit in the back facing backwards/sideways while looking over your shoulder? 1 Quote

The angle of the photo made it look like the deck goes all the way to the rear bench. Looking at the frame photo and other photos again I see that it doesn't. I'm guessing it was a fun project to kill some of the time that you couldn't spend on the lake. Quote
Jim Mac Posted July 17, 2018 Posted July 17, 2018 Very nice. Are the plastic boxes screwed down somehow ? Quote
Super User WIGuide Posted July 17, 2018 Super User Posted July 17, 2018 Looks like a job well done! Quote

Yes, unfortunately it ended up killing some time I COULD have spent on the lake as well ? 1 hour ago, Jim Mac said: Very nice. Are the plastic boxes screwed down somehow ? They are attached to the framing very well. Here is the best picture I have of the storage framing. That was all once piece. They are all insulated as well. Quote
