My Toadrunner tail swivel pulled out while tying it on my line after getting 2 bites on it. I'm quite upset. If they're no more durable than this, I'll make homemade propfrogs. I emailed Booyah and they want me to send the d**n thing back to them for inspection. I sent a picture that showed what happened. Should I bother spending $4 on a frog I paid $8 for?

I would explain just that to Booyah! Say look, I've shown you pictures, I only paid $8 for this bait and you want me to spend ANOTHER $4 to ship it back to you. I don't think that's reasonable and if you don't replace this bait free of charge i will just go buy a Teckel Sprinker and never purchase a Booyah bait again. See what they say to that!

They're sending replacements before I send mine back. Just had that discussion. I didn't know the swivels were just glued in the body. Seems cheaply done, doesn't it?

The swivel hasn't come out of mine yet, but the wire has popped out of the tail multiple times now. I probably have to order replacement tails, since the superglue will probably not work after the next rip.

The tails are going to be attached via 3way swivel on mine...asap. I dont trust the glued in swivels.

I wonder if Mend It would work better since it fuses the plastic instead of just gluing it?

I'll give it a try, but the plastic is pretty stiff, not like a Senko which fuses real easy. I've just been using Loctite gel, but it gets hard and brittle after each application.

Yeah, I think you need to use something that fuse the plastic on a molecular level and not just add crust over the rip...sort of like the difference between putting a band-aid on a cut and actually stitching it up :D.

I wonder if there's a way to deal that hole in the back of it and fish it without the swivel in it...

Maybe a little dollop of marine putty?

Weird, I've caught a couple dozen fish on mine and it is still working fine? Hate the Trokar hooks though, no idea why they thought they needed to change from their standard hooks.
