Im in the market for a rod to cover chatter baits and spinnerbaits and 3-5 inch paddel tail swimbaits i fish the California delta which is perfect for these baits to fish them through cover and grass. Which means I would like to run braid.  and I need a new rod In the arsenal to cover these baits best. So just need some advice on rod power and action and if you know any rods that cover these best please let me know. I've been recommended the megabass orochi Diablo spec r. But its deffinlty out of my price range.I do know they make the same model in the Levant series but never seen any reviews

I assume you are throwing 3/8-1/2 spinnerbaits. Is that right? I think the Diablo Spec R is a great rod for your application. Possibly check into a Megabass Levante Diablo Spec R, Curado 7'2 MH, or Zodias 7'2 MH. All are great sub $200 rods. However, St Croix and Dobyns also have great rods. I recommend going to a tackle shop and finding what you like as another persons recommendation may not be what you may like.
