I'd throw about everything I have in the box except for deep divers until I figured it out. Early or late I'd try topwaters because I love them. 1 Quote

Work a straight or curly tail worm slowly along the bottom, with an occasional pause. Use the lightest weight that you can cast to get a slow fall. Topwaters can be good early morning or evening. A plus for you is that a smaller pond is a perfect place to learn Texas rig fishing. Good luck Quote
Black Hawk Basser Posted July 11, 2018 Posted July 11, 2018 Try a jig/craw combo during the day, topwaters and spinnerbaits early and late. I also fish a small pond like yours and these are my best performers. You'll do well to use downsized lures in small ponds, at least for numbers. Still, don't be afraid to try big stuff too. And definitely learn the Texas rig - one of the bread and butter techniques for bass! Quote
