We’ve all been definitely talking about the new products coming out at Icast 2018. We’ve all made our predictions we’ve heard rumors we have our assumptions and presumptions, but who will win best of show? Best fresh water bait caster ,best saltwater bait caster, Best spinning reel, bass rod for freshwater or salt ? Best of show predictions?

What do you guys think who will steal the show this year?

Either Daiwa or Shimano on the reel. I hope Daiwa, I'm a big fanboy.

Best in show is much like magazine reviews used to be, all about the advertising and booth size and politics. Didn't Carrot Stik win a while back?  meh.

Must have been a been long time ago carrot sticks went way way downhill.

”meh” no no oh heck no I love these shows. Even if they are the new version of the old school advertising of yesterday.

I think a salt impregnated soft plastic worm that has a unique flutter when it falls that's made by a Japanese man will steal the show and take the fishing world by storm!

Just a prediction, I have no inside information, and I'm no clairvoyant. ?

I'm just jaded, I've been to a bunch of different sporting goods shows on the industry side for almost 30 years, It's sausage making, not the candy store the consumer sees or imagines.
