Rick Howard Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 Anyone ever used this concoction to clean algae off their right? I tried it today but was nervous about potential ill effects. It worked great but I hosed it right off. I didn't want this stuff sitting on the gel coat for long. Any problems with doing this? Quote
Super User TOXIC Posted June 25, 2018 Super User Posted June 25, 2018 If I put anything caustic on my gel or hull, it gets a follow up coat of wax and/or sealer. Quote
3dees Posted June 25, 2018 Posted June 25, 2018 never used it on my hull but the peroxide is great for removing blood from the carpet. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted June 25, 2018 Super User Posted June 25, 2018 I recently started using Boat Bling's Hot Sauce - Removes and prevents water spotting - for real. Contains a percentage of white vinegar - so you'll get familiar smell, but it fades quickly. Try it, I bet you'll like it - A Lot. I certainly do A-Jay Quote
Super User Catt Posted June 25, 2018 Super User Posted June 25, 2018 Cleans scum, algae, mold, mildew off gelcoat & seats. Spray on...hose off! Quote
