What are some rods you love that get no publicity? It seems with so many offerings a lot of really nice gear flies under the radar.

I love Falcon Cara rods. Very light and sensitive American made rods for $200. In fact I like it better than some of my more expensive rods. You just never hear anything about them.

I bought a used combo last year, my first baitcaster. It was a 2 piece 6'10" MH-XF Shimano Compre with a Daiwa Tatula reel. Really just wanted the reel but figured what the hell. Even after I bought it I wasn't sure about the rod. After a few outings and a few dozen fish, I really like it but it does not get very good reviews, not sure why. Not my favorite rod (that's for my st Croix avid x) , but its pretty sensitive and will be keeping it. Goes to show you, you have to try it for yourself before you judge it.

I was gonna say Falcon and Denali too. Doesn't seem like you hear much about ALX rods either.

Nobody seems to talk about Quantum anything. Except for KVD and Jordan Lee..

Okuma TCS, super nice rods and you can find them for around $100 all day if you look a little bit.

Ive got some gen 1 villains I really like....light and sensitive.  The reel seat looks a little weird and flexes... but its comfy. Tackle Tour is definitely giving the 2.0 version some love.

Powell Inferno, yes I've read all the negative reviews & don't believe most of em. After 8 months & dozens of 6-9 lb bass (see below) in heavy cover I've had zero issues.

Academy's H2O Xpress Ethos & All Star's Team series get high marks

In my area, All Star is a sleeper. Now we have an Academy near us, and they carry them. Falcon is good too,but maybe not quite as popular as some others. Both nice rods. Also Shimano makes nice rods, but most guys around here only use their reels, on some other rod brand.

I flip with a 7'3 heavy Duckett Ghost. Absolutely love it, and for the low price you don't hear too much about em

Abu Garcia Ike series rods, no one talks about them. They look great, can't speak on sensitivity as mine is a cranking rod, awesome reel seat, its nicely balanced, it's relatively light as I never get tired using it. The handle length is great, the foam is nice. The guides aren't the best but they're tough as nails. I'd be interested in a the Power series but I never see reviews on them.

Fenwick Eagle, Denali AttaX and Powell Nuisance. Great rods for their price points, especially the Fenwick.

I really like falcon. I have a few lowriders, a cara t7 and a buccoo sr and they're all really good sticks. I have a digit after 7 blackout I bought cuz I needed a cheap rod fast and even with all the horrible reviews my expectations have far been exceeded.

I love my Fenwicks. Not as big a name as some others.

Quantum Cranking Rods and Fenwick EliteTech Smallmouth rods. ~

I think the original Tatula rods get a lot of love.  Falcon doesn't get mentioned much, but they are another rod that is loved by many.  Shimano, Dobyns, GLoomis all get plenty of love.  Many Abu rods are well liked, but the one mentioned below hardly ever appears in a thread.

Rods that get very little publicity....to name a few.

ALX

Okuma

Major Craft

Villain 2.0

Ike

Fenwick

Hurricane Redbone

Quantum

Powell

Phenix

Fenwick seldom gets mentioned since dropping the Smallmouth series.  A great rod for the money.  The Aetos ain't shabby.  The Techna AV was another excellent rod that got dropped.  The handle on my Smoke is shorter than I like and I'm not thrilled about where the hook keeper is, but it is a very good rod otherwise.  I have a couple Tour Editions and Superlites that I like a lot.  How often do you hear of them?  Love my Redbone.  Thank you Sirsnookalot for recommending them.  Recent poster had never even heard of this rod.  Love my Helios.

Seems like there are a lot of decent rods out there that seldom get mentioned on the forums.

Does anyone use Cashion rods? I use them for CB, square bills, jerkbaits, and top water. They are great rods and I never hear anyone mention them
