I’ve not caught a fish since Memorial Day. Right now I’m only able to bank fish around the slough where my camper is.

I’ve been junk fishing just trying to land something. Jigs, Senkos, shaky head, square bills, spinner bait, lipless crankbaits, creatures, lizards, T-rig, jerk baits, bladed jigs, basically everything in my tackle box and nothing.

Water visibility is about 4 feet and has a little stain to it, water temp is in the low 80s, there are piers and weeds. Bluegill, crawfish, and shad for forage.

Very frustrating to me. I’m stuck bank fishing until I get a water pump in.

When all else fails try a nightcrawler and bobber fish.

If the fish are using the area, it's very likely they only occupy it when feeding.  Try a number of different times throughout the day and night. If there's forage there and deeper water near by, there should be some feeding activity sometime. You just need to figure out when.

Try a Berkley 7" black-blue Power worm Texas rigged at night, simple and very effective.
