HogsNHawgs Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 Checking these out, and also the Phenix lineup of rods. Anyone have anything to report on the Ark lineup? Quote
YaknBassn Posted June 14, 2018 Posted June 14, 2018 I use them, abuse them, and love them. I made a blind buy and glad I did it. I've got two Invokers and a Tharp series rod. Quote
Super User new2BC4bass Posted June 15, 2018 Super User Posted June 15, 2018 No, but check out TackleTour's review of an Invoker spinning and casting rod. Both received a best value award. Quote

I can't afford $500+ for some of these rods, and every time I get the itch of stuff like that I remember catching bass on finesse baits and ugly sticks when I was a kid. Not knocking the guys who spend serious coin on the high dollar stuff, just saying a $130-$180 rod can still be a pretty darn good rod. Quote
YaknBassn Posted June 16, 2018 Posted June 16, 2018 I enjoy using it. Very refined for a $130 rod. The Invoker rods are my favorites. Well worth the money with a solid warranty backing them. Quote
FoulHooked Posted June 17, 2018 Posted June 17, 2018 Have the Invoker 7'1' medium spinner for shakey heads and etc. $150 rod but the deal with the Invoker is its a higher end blank that has cheaper components (guides and reel seat) to keep the price down. I love the blank but not a big fan of the reel seat. On some hook sets i can feel slack or a looseness where it meets the blank. Not bad enough that i worry about it coming off but it can be quite noticeable at times. Other than that i love it for the price. Very good sensitivity. Quote
