I'm trying to design a storage device for my plastic Plano boxes. Instead of keeping them in a tackle bag (which takes up room in my storage compartments) I'd like to design some type of rack to install inside the compartment(s) of my bass boat. I have 2 large storage compartments in the bow of my boat and in looking at them I'm sure I could fit like 8 Plano's in one compartment if I had some sort of rack to hold them. That would leave the other side open for other stuff or riders tackle.

Any ideas?

Does someone make on that just can be dropped in?

Thanks for any input.

Yes.  You need one of these.

It is just one of those plastic file trays you can get at office supply stores.

I have 4 different sizes and just printed labels for them and stuff them in without any dividers.

Those office supply store file trays look just like they would work great!

The other product mentioned defiantely is a little pricey plus I already have fairly large compartments and don't want to add any more.

Thanks for the ideas!

Go take a look at some of the new boats. They have a storage rack in some of them that you can either measure or possibly purchase from a dealer. Knowing some of your work though you could build a better rack than any yet designed.
