chubaka Posted June 8, 2018 Posted June 8, 2018 What baitcast reel would be good for weightless senkos/light t-rigs? Quote
Super User Further North Posted June 9, 2018 Super User Posted June 9, 2018 I use an Abu Garcia LTX. ...but it wasn't cheap...cost $380 new in 2016... I tend to look at it this way: It was less than the Shimano Calais DC I use for pike and musky... Quote
Super User NHBull Posted June 9, 2018 Super User Posted June 9, 2018 My conquest 100 does the best of anything I i have.....and was JDM Quote
SMITTY0045 Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 If you can find a lews tournament lite that’s an awesome reel. It’s made to throw light baits. I have it paired up with an e6x and it throws weightless senkos effortlessly Quote
Ariffy Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 Abu Garcia pro max It's a solid good cheap reel 1 Quote
LCG Posted June 9, 2018 Posted June 9, 2018 Daiwa or shimano, pick your budget. They both have good offerings. Quote

Super User Tywithay Posted June 9, 2018 Super User Posted June 9, 2018 I use my Tatula SV sometimes, or a Steez A TW. The Tatula is easier to cast, I think. The Steez will throw one further than anything else I own, but I have had a couple overruns in this Kansas wind. Quote

Super User burrows Posted June 10, 2018 Super User Posted June 10, 2018 Any of the newer Shimanos cast weightless plastics phenomenaly get one with an mgl spool and it’s optimal for the lightest of soft plastics. Quote

Well sir, you just opened a whole other world Still would recommend Daiwa or Shimano, but the high end reels are out of my league. I have been impressed with their low and Mid tier offerings. Quote
