TylerT123 Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 I cleaned up my Curado 200K, now when I tighten the drag the thumbbar gets progressively harder to push as the drag gets tighter. What could be the problem? Quote
Quarry Man Posted June 7, 2018 Posted June 7, 2018 the problem is that you took something apart and then forgot how to put it back together. take it apart again putting everything on a white cloth to avoid losing parts. each piece taken off gets placed to the right of the last. if that doesn't work try youtube or send it to a repair shop. be gentle with the parts and avoid stripping the screws 2 Quote

The problem is this is my first time doing this and I’m 16.. 3 hours ago, Delaware Valley Tackle said: Email me with your phone number and I'll call you on a break tomorrow. Thank you but I have one more thing to try, someone helped me on here, I really appreciate your concern. The only thing is when I tighten the drag, the harder the thumbbar is to push down, what could be the problem? I can reel backwards as well... Quote

Tacklejunky81on YouTube has a great 3 part video of taking apart reels and putting them back together. It's not shimano but close enough. Work slow and be thorough. You can do it. 1 Quote
