Eric J Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 I get to my local lake around 5pm to get in a couple hours despite the air temp being 90* Yep... NINETY! I throw on a rage tail and get a solid hit on the second cast. I get him to the dock and as I pull up on the rod to grab him it SNAPS! Brand new, bought 3 weeks ago. I landed a 6 pounder with it but this 2 pound fish snaps the rod.... I looked on in disbelief and all I could think is; I GOTTA LAND THIS BASS!!!! HA! Quote
tcal4404 Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 that sucks. There are days when you can do no wrong and days where nothing goes right... 1 Quote
bhoff Posted June 4, 2018 Posted June 4, 2018 In terms of breaking rods it really has to do with the angle in which the weight is pulling down from. Anyways, glad you could make the best of it. Quote

The gear is replaceable. Time is not... ? Quote
