As we all know, it sucks if you're out fishing alone and catch the bass of a lifetime. You have nobody there to take a good picture of it.

So I was thinking about getting some sort of mount where I can set my phone/camera timer and step back and get a good pic with the fish. Does anybody have any recommendations?

I just turn on the front camera of my phone, stand it between the seats, set the timer.

I then step back until I can see myself on the screen and wait for the timer.

may not be professional looking , but it is good enough for me.

all of the pictures I have posted were taken this way.

Definitely an option. I was looking for something a little higher up. Something to maybe mount on the windshield?

Nice fish by the way!

I just take timer selfies fish in one hand phone in the other. And i always have my phone in the same place at the ready so i don't have to fumble around for it. That being said I'm sure they make suction cup phone holders for cars you could mount in your boat
