Eric J Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 I stopped by one of my local lakes for a couple hours of casting therapy before heading to work. Yesterday the waters were relatively calm and I had a great morning of fishing. Today the water was literally raging with Carp. They were wrestling everywhere. The noise was intense. I mean it was a Royal Rumble of Carp orgy!! As a result, I am assuming here.... nothing was hitting. Is there anything you can do at this point? It was so crazy me and a couple guys I met who were also fishing just started laughing. It was that nuts. Thoughts? Quote
Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted May 27, 2018 Global Moderator Posted May 27, 2018 I fish deep for bass when they are doing that or try to snag some of the carp. I don’t consider snagging unethical because I usually land about 1 out of 300........... Quote
Super User soflabasser Posted May 27, 2018 Super User Posted May 27, 2018 Sounds like it might be a good idea to fish for carp. 15 hours ago, Eric J said: I stopped by one of my local lakes for a couple hours of casting therapy before heading to work. Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted May 27, 2018 Global Moderator Posted May 27, 2018 I've rarely done any good for bass around spawning carp. Feeding carp is another story. Quote
