bhoff Posted May 23, 2018 Posted May 23, 2018 I'm sure this is posted somewhere in the multiple pinned posts at the top of the sub thread, but for the life of me I can't find anything on it. This being, if there is no bumping, what do you do to your post after a week or two and it stops getting any attention? Are you allowed to repost after a certain amount of time? Any help would be great. Thanks. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted May 23, 2018 Super User Posted May 23, 2018 You lower the price. That's why it isn't getting any attention. 1 Quote

Super User J Francho Posted May 23, 2018 Super User Posted May 23, 2018 There's plenty of guys on here that do coastal fishing, but yes you won't get as much as on a saltwater board. Quote
Preytorien Posted May 24, 2018 Posted May 24, 2018 John's right. Take a look at your price, evaluate if it's competitive, that's usually the holdup. Then again, sometimes there's just not a market for it. Sometimes it's like that. Try eBay, Craigslist, or something else. Then try reposting at a lower price later if you're not getting any interest. Sometimes trades work, I know personally I don't always have the free cash, but I have plenty of items I rarely use that someone else might be looking for. There's a few ways to go about it.....just give it some time. Quote
Super User fishballer06 Posted May 24, 2018 Super User Posted May 24, 2018 It is a downfall. I've made numerous posts on here trying to sell something at a price I felt was fair but it doesn't get the attention/offers that I feel it should. So you're left either dropping your price or trying to sell it elsewhere. Quote

I know for me, it's tough to sell a unique JDM reel, with mods, upgrades, and my own personal cleaning regimen for what I think it's worth. I kind of use those as a bonus, rather than charge for it, and it usually helps the item sell faster, even though I know maybe an auction site with a week long duration might be better. It's just so much more convenient to deal with friends here. Quote
