Super User Gundog Posted May 15, 2018 Super User Posted May 15, 2018 I would love to get my hands on one. Those are instant classics. Quote
Crappiebasser Posted May 15, 2018 Posted May 15, 2018 The CMP is a great program. I bought a M1 Garand at the Talladega pro shop a while back. They are a nice gun and skeet range too. Quote
Super User NHBull Posted May 17, 2018 Super User Posted May 17, 2018 @Sam, thanks for posting. I thought that would never happen. For me it was the easiest most reliable weapon I had. If It didn’t weight a ton it would be my everyday carry. Proof that a “loose” pistol can be more reliable than current “tight” tolerance pistols. 1 Quote
StratDude Posted May 18, 2018 Posted May 18, 2018 I already have 2 of the old classic 1911's. An Ithaca (made in 1942) that my uncle carried during Viet Nam. And a Remington Rand (made in 1945) that another family member was issued many years ago.. Both are still in great condition.. And still fetch a nice collector's price. They both will belong to my son someday. Quote
