Sharkicane Posted May 12, 2018 Posted May 12, 2018 Hey all, I know this might sound silly but the instructions arnt very thorough. I’ve got some spike it dip n glo chartreuse garlic. Is this something that needs to be applied right before I starting fishing with it? Or is this something I can use on a few plastics the night before and still get the same results? I don’t know much about soft plastics nor have I ever modified them before so I wasn’t to sure what the correct process is. Quote
Kyhokie Posted May 12, 2018 Posted May 12, 2018 Both of your ways work. I prefer applying it on the water. Watch out tho, it will stain. Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted May 12, 2018 Super User Posted May 12, 2018 I've only used it while I was fishing. Dip it - toss it over the side and then start casting . A-Jay Quote

I think my main concern applying it on when I get to my fishing spot. Is I primarily go fishing before work. So then this flammable liquid is in my tackle box, in my truck, in a black car, under the Texas heat. All day long lol 5 minutes ago, A-Jay said: I've only used it while I was fishing. It’s a very deep crystal clear water little lake. I’m hoping it does well. Quote

Yes - I dip the tails of drop shot baits and the claws of jig trailers quite often. The stuff is fairly potent and you certainly don't want it on your hands. BTW - try not to spill it - it's stains most any thing. A-Jay Quote
rangerjockey Posted May 12, 2018 Posted May 12, 2018 That's why I went to the Zoom Markers, But when I used it I'd do the same as AJ. Quote
bagofdonuts Posted May 12, 2018 Posted May 12, 2018 The bottle will leak badly in your truck in the heat. 1 Quote

I was wondering what would happen, thank you for the heads up. I was fearing a chartreuse fire ball that would engulf my car lol. Im just going to have to move it in the house and either dip them before I head to my spot or the night before. Quote
